I'd also recommend not purchasing one of the first.., even second - year runs - let others find the bugs / hd resolve the bugs..., first (and there will be bugs - always has been) - then buy one if they still trip your trigger
Personally - if it ain't got two shocks on the *** end - it better be a hard tail..., and I've already ridden too many miles (and pissed too much blood) on HTs to want to go back
Fake just doesn't appeal to me
