Turn Signal Pin Removal

Howdy! I know there are a ton of threads on this subject already, but none them seem to be helping me at all. I'm replacing my handlebars and I need to remove the turn signal wires from the housing. I've tried using a tiny jewelers screwdriver and a flattened paper clip. I cannot seem to get any of these damn wires to budge! Has anyone ever ran into this problem?

Never mind. Figured it out and it was simple. I didn't realize I had to push the wire forward with the safety pin stuck inside before pulling the wire out. Hope this helps someone else. That was frustrating as well for a while.

Glad you figured it out. I use a sewing needle. Push needle in, lift up a bit. Push wire side in simultaneously and then pull out. Once you get the trick of it, it's quite easy.
