So I need a tuner. I'm going above the factory flash as far as upgrades and I'd like opinions on the best tuner. I won't be tuning it myself. More of a have it dynod and forget it. So what do you guys suggest? Thanks in advance.
I think you mean that after you make the changes your going to take it to someone to have a proper dyno tune done.
If your really going to do that then ask the guy your going to take it to,
Serious.
It's all about the $$$ and how far your going to take it now and in the future.
And your expectations.
There is a full section about fuel injection and tuners,, find it and read some. It is a hard choice to decide the best way to spend your money.
Otherwise this forum is all about the Power Vision,,
As far as future plans go. Cams are as far as I'm going to take it. No big bore kits for this dude. I'm pretty happy with the 96" and basic mods. Just looking for a little more low end torque.
I just got a power vision and like it so far. Pick a tuner first, then buy what he prefers to work on.
This. Also if you're going to have it dyno'd and end up wanting a PowerVision just get it from the cheapest source. I wasn't too impressed with the canned maps I got from Fuel Moto, pre and post cam upgrade. I had to send my map to Dynojet to get the cam setting corrected in the map I got from FM.
