Oil Coolers - Worth the $$?

She gets hot sitting at on-ramps in 100-degree temps. Wondering if an oil cooler would help.

A parade fan will be better for your application.

My Ultracool fan assisted oil cooler and my Love Jugs/Wards fans (I have on both on both bikes) lower my observed engine temps by 50 degrees.

I have an oil cooler and mighty mites it makes a lot of difference here in 90-100 deg temps on the ride home at 5pm

If you put an oil cooler on, get one with a fan. I put Love Juggs Mighty Mites on my Heritage and I love them. When I put them on I rode in stop-and-go traffic until the EITMS kicked in. I turned the fans on and the EITMS didn't kick in again.

I live just a couple of hours from you with ambient temps quite a bit higher. I have both fan assisted oil cooler and wards fans.

In my mind every bit helps due to where I am, for you on the coast with your average temps it sure wouldn't hurt but to be fair your bike was built for that type of use...
