"Looks are very subjective"

Yes they are,

But that statement is misplaced.

In Dyna section Looks are already settled. So the subjectivity of the looks play little role.

There are two types of consumers. The ones that know what they want and buy that and only that. And the ones that dont know what they want until you show it to them. This second type usually go with the trend and the buy the newest model. e.g iphone users.

So, in case of Rosie, let's say there are 25 people in the world that love her looks. They all get in front of the tv and watch her shows. One day, the producer decides Rosie does not have enough viewers and so decides to fire her.

Now, what does it mean if you go to these 25 people and tell them: "Beauty is subjective" ? Are the going to go watch skinny dress shows just because beauty is subjective? It means nothing to them.

How many times have I seen a tall handsome guy holding hands with a Rosie look alike and thought it's so beautiful to watch, since beauty is subjective.
And that's where it exactly applies.

All that to say the new Fat Bob is absolutely fugly!!!!! You throw some of those even fuglier hand guards on it, black everything out, add some knobby tires and you could call up Chuck Norris to make another Delta Force movie....

Well this is as good a place as any, been fun fellas, really enjoyed hanging around. I think I mostly enjoyed seeing the pics of what it looks like where you folks live and ride that have posted pics, thank you for that.
Now I have had some fun at the expense of the new bikes and honestly, many of you don't have senses of humor, mighty thin skinned some of you are to get bent about it, my words.
Surprised I am about how many have come to defend the new bikes...shallow.
Then again, the world is changing, for the worse unfortunately, and it appears there are many who can't see it.
This has been the only entrance I have made into the social media BS world, I don't do any of the other nonsense, and I hate to think my entrance here has contributed to the social media nonsense but I like bikes and have had fun with my Dyna, fun with many folks here and again, really enjoyed the pics and knowledge.
The pleasure has run out of the forum, oh well, that's the way it goes.

Best to you all boys, Vaya con dios

132 HP... When it was 103". it was 117/115. I have that dyno slip from Jim. Then the previous owner bored out some new cylinders to 113". Salesman estimated the power went up to the figure I quoted. There is nothing stock inside the cases. Look closely at the last bit of video, and notice that oversize intake writhing like a snake. I've never put it on a dyno. But I did own a Hayabusa so I know fast and the black bike is fast, really fast for a Harley. Everything is up high, you have to slip the clutch a bit to get on the power curve. It'll lay a long line of rubber even on dry pavement.

You're quoting based on a salesman dyno?

I thought my area had the only one... mine said my stock 96 w/stg1 was putting out 120...
