Well this is as good a place as any, been fun fellas, really enjoyed hanging around. I think I mostly enjoyed seeing the pics of what it looks like where you folks live and ride that have posted pics, thank you for that.
Now I have had some fun at the expense of the new bikes and honestly, many of you don't have senses of humor, mighty thin skinned some of you are to get bent about it, my words.
Surprised I am about how many have come to defend the new bikes...shallow.
Then again, the world is changing, for the worse unfortunately, and it appears there are many who can't see it.
This has been the only entrance I have made into the social media BS world, I don't do any of the other nonsense, and I hate to think my entrance here has contributed to the social media nonsense but I like bikes and have had fun with my Dyna, fun with many folks here and again, really enjoyed the pics and knowledge.
The pleasure has run out of the forum, oh well, that's the way it goes.
I love 3rd Gen Camaro's.
Had one. An 86. Z/28 5sp. Only bad thing
was the T-Tops.
And yes . . . . Rosie (FATA$$) O'Donnell is a PIG!!!!

Reason: lost my mind
132 HP... When it was 103". it was 117/115. I have that dyno slip from Jim. Then the previous owner bored out some new cylinders to 113". Salesman estimated the power went up to the figure I quoted. There is nothing stock inside the cases. Look closely at the last bit of video, and notice that oversize intake writhing like a snake. I've never put it on a dyno. But I did own a Hayabusa so I know fast and the black bike is fast, really fast for a Harley. Everything is up high, you have to slip the clutch a bit to get on the power curve. It'll lay a long line of rubber even on dry pavement.
You're an honest guy, and fast is always a relative thing. It means very little to me, hence I've never chased it on the HD's I've owned. So long as you are enjoying the bikes you own, whatever they are, their speed is sufficient.
I rode the Fat Bob and Fat Boy both with the 114 motor yesterday. There is a Fat Bob 114 in my future. It is a well sorted bike and feels exponentially better than my Dyna. Putting the FXDL up for sale.
All that to say the new Fat Bob is absolutely fugly!!!!! You throw some of those even fuglier hand guards on it, black everything out, add some knobby tires and you could call up Chuck Norris to make another Delta Force movie....
I'm thinking it needs some tire cutting spikes on those silly *** fork slider protectors. Probably under development by HD P&A as we speak.
Harley is Dying, at least the way we know Harleys.
They will continue to downsize the Brand until someone buys it out and saves it. As a smaller business though.
I don't buy this. HD is doing what they have to do for their business. I'm a Dyna owner, and I'm saddened by the demise of the line. However, I'm over the shock of it and I'm guessing that the 2018's are actually better bikes than any Dyna. I can't say the current offerings really jazz me, but I'm betting some future variant is going to nail what I'm looking for. Stiffer frame and way better suspension correct some of the criticisms I have for my bike. Overall, I'm kind of happy with this new series of bikes. The future holds much promise.
What concerns me way more, are the countries saying that they have a schedule in place to stop selling gasoline powered cars (China, France, UK, etc.) in the not too distant future. While the LiveWire is cool, I'm really going to miss the gas powered HD's.

You'll be in the grave and forgotten long before gas powered vehicles are off the roads....
That was the best laugh I had in a long time...well twice actually...first ...the guy who thinks there isn't a single bike out there that will keep up with a new bike...come on man take deep breaths ...you're lacking oxygen...second...the salesman told me it has 132 hp...wtf...that's it, my bikes up for sale...ummm it's got a 165hp...no wait I put in new spark plugs so it's up to 175hp...accepting trades for magic beans
