Default Power Commander V help

On my Dyna, 2013 Super Glide with 96 CI engine I am running a little too rich. Bike has Bassani Fireflight 2 into 2 exhaust, PCV tuner and Kuryakan Hypercharger air cleaner. The only maps available on the Dynojet website that are close are the V and H big radius which is similar to the Bassani Fireflight and the Screaming Eagle Heavy Breather (which I took off because I hate it). I am not really interested in having it dynoed for around 400 bucks and there are so many adjustments available I was just wondering where would be a good place to start.

When it was installed it was all zeros and very rich. Once I put the closest thing I could find from their website it was much better but still too rich.

This is what I have going on now. Any suggestions before I spend 3 days changing and riding to get it better?

Runs great at any speed but too much popping on decel. I called Fuel Moto but since they didn't sell me the PCV they were no help. They sold me the one on my Road King and have been spot on for 2 upgrades.

Yea, send it back to where ever you got it from,
And buy one from Fuel Moto with one of Jaime's canned tunes.
Trying to save $20-30 and not have lifetime support from Fuel Moto is a mistake.

Would be just as affordable to Dyno it as remove and replace. I came asking for technical help. I can adjust myself just looking for suggestions beforehand. I totally am a Fuel Moto fan but not going to replace this one to get it right.

Ok I get that,
Try a map with a stock air cleaner. The "Hyper charger" looks cool, but it's a no gainer

(hard truth?)

Will do, I like the Hypercharger, gives the bike a lot more thump but maybe the stock map will help, Thanks. And yes I totally agree with your opinion on Fuel Moto but was already into this one.

I'm no expert but from what I've seen here I'd suggest adding fuel at zero percent throttle from 3500 -4000 rpm down to idle speed...start small and see if that makes a difference...if it gets better keep adding until it's acceptable...you might get some popping no matter what you do with the pipes you have and check for leaks on the exhaust too. Also the kuryakyn hyper charger is about as good as your stock intake...so adjust for that too...if you keep it on...I'd put screaming eagle back on for the extra performance but it's not my bike lol...good luck ...hope this helps

Just looked at your fuel again..maybe start at 1500 ?? I think that's where your zeros start...add 3 to next couple few rpm boxes then test ride ...keep working your way up the rpm range adding fuel and maybe add a little fuel to lower ones as you go up the range. I had the same condition with pcv and luckily I did purchase mine from fm...that's what they adjusted on my map for the decel popping

Thanks, I removed the SE because it was big, in the way, and if it started raining heavily you were screwed. You could put the rain sock on but it would become saturated and you were reduced to about 30 MPH in the rain. Hypercharger is much more comfortable and performs better. BTW, had the same problem with the SE breather. Bike has never been tuned I just rode it how it would perform. Is super strong and runs great I just need a little help on where to change the fuel settings.

Along the same lines as mentioned by the beagle...

Here's a blurb from Dynojet about adding fuel in the 0% column and adjusting the ignition table for the "Decel Pop" condition.

You may call Dynojet and see if anything has changed or any other suggestions...they can be helpful.
