Thanks again for your help. I decided not to grind the inner primary and to go further in. Other threads about going to a 30T transmission drive sprocket sealed the plan. My 96ci only has stage-1 and I don't do burn outs so my original compensating sprocket looks in good shape. Also, I take the time to shift into gear and break my clutches free before I start up and shift the first time. This probably is helping my Compensating sprocket a bit too. I can't justify $410.00 for the SE one at this time. Spent my money on the Andrews 30T and the correct special tools needed to get the nut off. It was a MF. 120lbs air impact wrench did not budge it! Finally 3ft breaker bar with 4ft extension pipe and my buddy STANDING on it, jumping like he was on a diving board and it loosened. Test rode it yesterday. Now this is what I really needed. I don't have to ride the clutch in normal traffic around town and I can run with the fast traffic in 6th gear on the highway and not have to constantly keep down shifting for every hill. This mod will probably reduce my shifting by 30% and I won't have to deal with left hand cramping in traffic every time. The original belt fits fine with plenty enough room for adjustment. The increased torque is very nice too so now if I'm slowed down in traffic to 2K rpm the bike can easily pull out of it without down shifting. If you want more info on the gearing mod just search threads for 30T. There is a TON of info and details on doing this. EVERYONE who has done this seems to be very happy with the results. I'm always happy to turn a repair into a performance mod while I have things torn down. I makes the money spent seem a lot less wasted. Have fun, Billy
