Dreaming while I wait
So I now have a laundry list of goodies I'd like for the bike. Mostly cosmetic stuff for now and nothing too fancy by anyone's imagination (some probably would say boring or even overdone but who cares). So in my research I of course have seen the 117 kit for the 110. So here's my question.
If you had the abilities and finances and chose the 117 kit would you go further in performance mods and if yes what would you do. Within reason of course no insane drag only setups here let's keep it fun reliable and streetable.
And yes before anyone states it I'm only daydreaming here no intentions on the 117 yet nor further upgrades for a while.
Ive spent more then that on stuff it needs to be a better bike..... Yes, Ive spent on intake, tuner and exhaust.... Thats a given.... But the 117 off the bat? Spent the 117 kit worth on suspension, brakes, true track, braces..... Fix the weak links first before adding more cubes..... Maybe thats just me....

Suspension, improved handling, and braking long before more 'go fast' parts. Every one wants to go fast, but actual handling and stopping just seems to evade them...
You don't need more cubic inches; you need to be able to actually use what you've got first

also pipes and tune are already being worked up for my 1000 mile service I'll ride stock till then just so I can enjoy it for a little bit before I do anything at all. Also bars may get rolled up into that deal as well
that said anyone have an upgrade path after the complete their upgrade path lol
now with that said (please no more advice on what needs to be done before)
what if anything would you do after a 117?
would it all be for naught after that?
would it just be for go fast showing off at the track or can you make a steerable reliable build off of the 117 without going overboard?
have some fun with this question
NO... you clearly don't care to listen, not whatsoever; you don't want advise or suggestions, you just want your pecker stroked, you've bought an HD, wow, BFT; just another posing POS; not a true motorcyclist at all. This is my shocked face ...

anyway poser or not it's still a thought I had. I may be new to this bike but I'm not new to bikes or Harleys and by no means to forums with holier than thou treat everyone like an idiot members so... swing and a miss
Ego stroke aside is anyone gonna answer or am I wasting my breath asking the "motorcyclists"anything
I mean ffs it's a half assed game of a question not even taking place in reality I don't have the funds to get the 117 let alone anything beyond it was just simply fun curiousity... but I guess this is a serious place for serious people

Good luck waiting on exhaust install..... I trailered mine home.... Had a 2 bros exhaust in the trailer.... No way I was gonna ride it with the stocker..... Exhaust on and stripped the kids bike reflectors off too that night before it rode on the street..... 😊
But for how the question ended up..... Id choose other build options other then HD's setup for 117, personally.
But at the end of my LRS tweaking and modding making it a match for my style and riding, a 117 bump would be the last on the list till the motor let go. Then Id probably just throw in a big cube aftermarket setup when it blew.

While it's no sport bike, it's still faster than most stuff on the road.
edit: grats on the new bike of course.
