So I have an 08 superglide and Im updating the suspension. Im going with progressive 444s in the back and Ive been looking into the progressive monotube fork kit and the Harley premium ride single cartridge kit. Both kits are in the same price range, so I wanted to see what everyone else has ran.
I have the SE setup in my 14. If I had it to do over again I’d be meaning to Legend Suspension. The SE cartridge is working fine so far but the Axeo is real nice in the Ultra. I like the idea of “something” in both legs being equal.

i have a very lightly used set of monotubes (less than 500 miles) for sale on here if your interested
I use the 444s on the back end but put in the Race Tech Gold Valve emulators on the front. http://www.racetech.com/page/title/H...mulator%20Kits They are the best combination of suspension I have used, but I have not tried the cartridge mono-tube kits yet. If you do get one of the cartridge kits I would suggest getting one where you can adjust them at the top of the fork. For all that cost you don't want to have to take your forks apart again to get the tubes at the right pressure.
2017 fxdls here, I'm running the Legend axeo up front and fox rc1 13.5" in the rear. Honestly, the Legends are still REALLY stiff and give the frontend a "twitchy" feel. I've heard they loosen up a bit over time

Check out this chart:
You'll see that if you went with the Progressive Springs w/ Intiminator Valves, you'd get 55-60 points.
Here's a LINK to the full report we did on Front Suspension.
Also, if you haven't gotten your 444's yet, check out this LINK for a report we did on rear suspension before you do.
Here's a chart you'll see in the above link.
I think you'd be much more pleased with the Twin Adjustables.
Hope to have been some help! Give me a call if you have any questions or need some extra help or advice!

set of Terry Cable dampening rods with 15wt oil and youd be good to go up front. For the rear i wouldnt waste my money on progressive, so many better options availabe for the money.
