Default cams for dyna

I know this subject has been beat to death, but I have a noisy lifter in my 14 low rider at 28k miles so already have a set of S&S premiums and set of quickee push rods to install.
being will be this far into it would like to do a cam swap. I ride 2 up a lot and take a trip about 1 time a year so are loaded to the max.
most of my riding is between 2000 to 2800 rpm, rarely go over 3k as I like to use 6th gear. am thinking a lot on the andrews 48H cams as they say they gave a lot of torque in this rpm range and still are decent if you want to roll it on to pass. currently have an S&S stealth AC and supertrapp exhaust along with a PV that fuel moto loaded a program for current set up. by chance are there any other dyna riders with a similar set up and how do you like it?
would really appreciate any feed back.

Call S&S / Andrews / possibly other suppliers (Fuel Moto for one) - & see what they have to say / recommend

I ride 2-up maybe 10% of the time (combined weight 250 lbs). I've got a SE Heavy Breather, D&D Fat Cat w/ louvered baffles, and PV Target Tune. I operate more in the 2500-4000 rpm range. I had been looking at the 48H but Andrews recommended the 57H, particularly for the lighter bikes such as the Dyna.

57 H's are great but you need to be above 3 Grand to feel them pull.... 3-4.5k is the sweet spot for a twincam. Ride that sucker

For what you want the 48h cam will be perfect for you.

Lots of choices out there but the 48 sounds like what you are looking for .. I went with Andrews TW21 because wanted Early to Mid Range Torque where I felt the TC88 5 Speed was lacking, plus got them at a Great Price ..

Wow, focusing riding at 2000-2800 RPM on a Dyna is really lugging at the bottom end.

thanks for all the reply's. Andrews also recommended the 57's in my case, but from whit info I have read , they come on a little higher rpm range than I spend most of my time at.

I have always liked to ride in the tallest gear the bike could handle without lugging, even did so on the Japanese 4 cyl machines have owned in the past. funny thing, other guys would tell me am running in too high a gear, then could not understand why I could get so much better gas mileage than they could.

that is why am thinking on something like the 48's, when passing, I like not having to down shift.
