Fyi DOM8R, the LRS has throttle by wire which is a bit different than the tube sleeve you're referring to.
I was wanting to put MX grips on my LRS as well, but was hesitant because of the TBW, but now that I see it can be done, I may just do this!
shibbby911, are there any issues at all? How many miles have you put on since the new grips?
Hey End Loser, did not even think of the TBW. I have a 2010 Dyna. I have around 8K miles on mine now and they are getting worn. Probably replace over winter.

Hey thanks for the info!
I'm concerned about the TBW eating through and slipping at the end of the grip.
second the hairspray. spray the **** out of it, push that bitch on and youre good. when the hairspray dries it acts as an adhesive. I change my bar set ups all the time and always use renthal grips. usually one grip is tighter and one is looser for the throttle tube side
Gents, all I had to do was cut the old rubber grips off of the stock tube and slide the new Renthals on.
Had them in hot water for about 5 minutes, got a **** tonne of hair spray (Cheers shibbby911) in there and they slid straight on, checked this morning and she's all good!
