Default 1998 FXDWG Anniversary Model

Just bought this bike today- in beautiful shape, low miles, and under $5000! I think I got a great deal! Any thoughts/advice for me?

I have been riding motorcycles for 51 years. I have NEVER had to tighten and true any spoked wheel on any bike. The spokes are under tension, give em a tap with with something metallic and listen for the same "ping," if in doubt. Personally, I only check when changing tires.

If you feel it's a Great Deal it is .. If it runs like it looks inclined to agree with you ..

Looks like a good deal to me, the color is not my top choice, but I wouldn’t change it. Looks like the intake has been addressed, hopefully the jets are adjusted for a smooth ride. Check the age of the tires.

Sharp motorcycle at a decent price, given what it is.
Congrats!

Awesome ride!

Perform a more in-depth T-CLOCS inspection, and change what needs it, then ride!

I've have my 2017 wide glide for 7 months. Front had 7 loose spokes, all were tight when it was new, I race dirtbikes for 30 years and have always had to maintain spokes. No getting around it
