Well you guys did it again. Got a coupla gift cards yesterday,so I went by the Harley shop and got the heel rests and that skull air cleaner cover I been lookin' at. Only problem is I spent a hundred more than the gift cards. Like the way it looks and sits, haven't ridden yet, been raining like a cow pissin' on a flat rock all day.
Agree with 05WG,think they look better turned in and seem like they'll be more comfortable that way. Of course it could be cause I walk like a duck.
Those look good. I fooled around with mine for a long time before I tried them that way. It seemed to fix the problem for me. As for the spending more than the gift cards.........at least I'm not the only one who does that. Geez almost every time I go in there I could spend twice or three times what the card is worth...........Good luck.
I have the Kuryaykn swithblade style. Love them can ride with them closed or open. Only thing is to use some blue thread lock to keep them from being pushed down.
hi guys would like to add some heel rest to the wide glide could i get some info on what some of you guys instaled .im only 5' 5" and legs get tired sometimes thank you for your help
I'm 5'6" and I have Kury heel rest on both of my bikes and Hubby has had them on 2 of his bikes as well. I like the look and really like the way I can move my feet around during the ride.
Here's the pic of them on the Bobbi- had them powdercoated
I have the Kury switchblades on my WG. Did almost 1k miles about two weeks ago. They were great on the long rides, and then was able to flip them up for around town.
