Default PV map differances

I was looking at the air fuel ratios for the one I was emailed as opposed to the one I downloaded and they are way different.

The one they sent me was for a Fatbob ( i ride an 07 wideglide)

Any one have this issue ?

The one from DJ website is quite a bit richer almost everywhere.

Fuel maps are not model specific,, as in FatBob or Super Glide, Wide glide, or,,,
Maps are for engine AFR configuration as specific to that engines components.
If you have a Power Vision a canned map is just a start right?

I agree a Dyna 96” stage 1 is the same . I’m a bit confused why there are 2 different maps for the same engine, same setup. Maybe one is version 1 etc...

Maybe there is one for limited fuel consumption and economy,
,, and another for a nut like me that likes to wind it up and ain't worried about 42MPG vs 30mpg,, it's only a 4+ gal tank,, who cares?

You may be on to something regarding fuel consumption.
I'm going to call tomorrow and see what they say.

I'm with you, could give a **** less if I get 40 or 30 mpg...

I think it will depend on where you are getting the maps. Fuel Moto? DK Customs (do they even supply a map?) etc

Each tuner will have their own "spin" on what they think is best. If you are running a Power Vision, then the map that came with it, is really just the start. You need to drive the bike at least 3 to 4 times while its connected....lots of information on this site in the tuner section
