op, no, it's not a lot of miles. Like others have said, it's about what you should expect for a weekend rider. I'm pushing 20k on a bike I've owned a little over a year and I still don't consider that to be high. If everything looks good if say go for it.
If u can't take a little ball busting then take your princess butt and go ride a triumph. Too many sensitive sallys...and my math is right. It's not rocket science...well to some that can't spell mileage, maybe so. Buy the bike and ride it like you stole it.
