Looking into buys a 04 wide glide was wondering if 38,000 miles was high millage for that year i am purchasing from a dealer

Someone didn't pass grade 6 math.

that's less than 3000 miles per year.

hardly high mileage.

We get a fair few lifters fail at that mileage, update them to Johnson Hylift.

Ask the dealership if they know if the Cam Chain Tensioner "Pads" have been replaced/upgraded.

couldnt you have just said "no"?

op, no, it's not a lot of miles. Like others have said, it's about what you should expect for a weekend rider. I'm pushing 20k on a bike I've owned a little over a year and I still don't consider that to be high. If everything looks good if say go for it.

If u can't take a little ball busting then take your princess butt and go ride a triumph. Too many sensitive sallys...and my math is right. It's not rocket science...well to some that can't spell mileage, maybe so. Buy the bike and ride it like you stole it.

OP - I don't get it. You don't feel that 20K a year is high mileage for your bike but need to know if under 3K a year is high mileage on a used bike. Haven't you answered your own question?
