are we packing sealed bearings with grease?

Ok, room for improvement on the Bearings but mine going fubar at 67XX miles is uncommon but not unheard of.

62,000 on my 08 ultra . a lot of 2-up touring and pulling a cargo trailer (wife luggage ) Just changed the rear bearings with a new tire , no issues but more of a pm .

6200 miles on the rear. Literally sawn the race in half... Never pressure washed. (Hell, never washed!) When it gets dusty, I just wipe it down.

I'm of the opinion that the belt spec is too taught too...and that the bearing quality isn't up to snuff.

52k on my '14 Street Bob, and no issues so far. My Triumph Bonneville has had 2 sets on the rear, but still running the original front wheel bearings at 137k miles.

On my 13' the fronts went out at 5000 miles.

Anybody got a Timken part number for the older 3/4" axle Dynas?

I ended up with a set of all ***** on the front when they stock ones finally started wobbling after 20 years. Those unsealed bearings on the older bikes held up way better in my opinion. Every tire change I pull the seals and check for grease.
