I do run the FP3 from time to time in different weather so I can see how the temp of the bike reacts and to check horespwer and torque. I haven't done an autotune with the new cam's because its running so well. I would hate to mess the map up at this point.

My only concern is with the low idle is there sufficient oil pressure getting to the lower end and the charge rate for the battery could be a little low.

My mechanic at Gemini cycles in Horn Lake, Ms said at 920 rpm everything checked out fine.

How's the valve train noise? Is it about like stock or noisier?

If you ask me, the valve train noise is noticeably quieter. I believe that's because of the S&S quickie adjustable pushrods.

Just curious why you went with the chain drive cams versus going with gear drive like the 54's or 60's and getting rid of the hydraulic chain tensioner. The RPM range is pretty close with all of these.

Because, when I was deciding on going with the gear drive first. I researched all I could. Like, if my crankshafts runout was above 10 thousands, I would have to have the crank reworked to get it below 10 thousands in order for the gears to keep from destroying themselves and everything else. This was my first time doing this and chose the safe and sure thing of the chain drive. My chain tensioners didn't really show much sign of wear after 13,000 miles. So, im glad I made "My" right choice.
