My money bucket with a hole in the bottom..
Just got my 2015 Dyna wide glide back from the mechanic yesterday. He installed the new Andrews 57H cams and all I can say is "WOW!" Increased power and torque is Amazing. My question that is concerning me is, when I picked the bike up, the mechanic said he "tuned" the throttle body and lowered the idle.
So, now the idle he set is at 900-920rpm fully warmed up. Occasionally glancing at idle I do see the idle at 880rpm for a few seconds then back to 900 or so. Is this idle too low and will it hurt anything. I would really love to leave it where it is, because the lope sounds badass!
my set up:
Intake: velociraptor velocity stack with K/N filter.
Exhaust: Cobra speedster slash down with new thunder city monster baffles.
Fuel management: Vance and Hines FP3.
Any input from the knowledge of this great forum will be appreciated.
Thanks

Reason: Pic
Im going to swing by there today with the bike. I originally had the FP3 set at 950 when I dropped the bike off for the cam install. It would idle at 944 rpm.
i pre installed the new map for the cam's so it would be ready to go after he finished. If he set my idle mechanically, im going to be a little pissed. If somehow he set it with the FP3 that would be ok. I just don want to try and bump the idle up to 950 rpm if it was done mechanically.
he didn't adjust **** with the fp3 unless you left in the unit to do it. Make sure your th. cables are adjusted right and he didn't do it that way somehow
The Andrews 57's are on the top of my list of cam choices I'm sorting through. Please report back on your opinion of them when you get more miles on them.
