Default How reliable is your Dyna?

Do you have roadside assistance and have you ever used it?

I've had my Dyna almost 3 years and I've had no problems, never used roadside assistance and only wore out one set of tires.

I only have 1700 on my Bob, but no problems. Just installed the stage 1 with Thundermax and its running even better now...

20,000 miles and never a breakdown of any kind. I do have roadside assistance through HOG, but have never used it. I've ridden two up from Chicago to Sturgis and back and it never misses a beat.

So far, so good. Have an 05 WG (see below). Gone through 3 sets of tires so far. Planning on riding to Sturgis and back this August. With some riding around Sturgis I figure it to be a 5000 mile trip. I hope I don't have to ever use roadside assistance. I have it, just hope I never have to use it.

I keep up on all Maint on the bike. I use synthetic oil and they say you can go 5k miles between changes, but I don't. I change oil and filter every 2500 even with synthetic - it can't hurt.

34,000 miles. No roadside problems, but I did catch a worn cam chain tensioner just in time.

The fuel line burst on mine and poured 2 gallons of gas on my garage floor last week. What a mess.Other then that, no problems. I guess I should mention it is a 1981.
