Why do you guys make the switch back typically, a smaller ride easier to manage and more fun for around town riding, not longer trips where a bigger bike would be more preferable?

I herniated my C6-C7 in August and haven’t been able to ride. I sold it so I wouldn’t have to stare at it in my garage. I had a brother who went down and needed a bike so it worked out. I’ve been wanting another Dyna for a while anyway.
Redbeard, I went with the Bassani Road Rage 3, RSD Slant Carbon AC, Forbidden 9” risers and their FM/Fly Racing moto bar. The bar/riser is pretty much identical to my old street bob in my Sig.
Moose, I switched back for all the reasons you mentioned. My RG was awesome, but I spend way more time doing 150-200 mike days than longer trips.
