I've read some posts on here about different saddle bags, but this is what I'm looking for. First, I have an 06 Street Bob, everything on the rear is stock and I want to keep it that way. I want a set of throw over bags that tie to the frame somewhere. (Obviously I'm not up on the lingo) I don't want any type of brackets or racks. Does anything like this exist? Anybody know where I can get some? Any comments? Thanks.
They were very in-expensive, they fit between the shocks and the turn signal just fine and they will easily tie to the fender support. I was going to adjust them so they hang a little lower but have decided I like them up higher, so they defilatly won't rub anything besides the fender support. They are also very thick leather and seem to be made pretty well. I haven't road tested them yet because it was raining the last two nights when I went to work. Also these guys ship super fast.
Flat Black Bob,
Thanks for your help. Just one more question if you don't mind: I don't have a passenger seat, do you think these will still work? Thanks for your help.
I don't think you would have a problem without a back seat. Of course they would hang lower then they do on mine, but they can also be adjusted. To adjust them all you would have to do is re-lace the two together. If they are still to low just punch some extra holes in the leather straps that hold the two together with a punch and you should be good to go.
