Yeah...some people’s views are factual.

I think my battery isn't working as normal. Engine start hardly. I tested it by 1/20 ampere/hours methodologies and battery shows 10.8V after 9 hours testing. It is half power from normal! My bike bought 05/2016. I want to replace the battery by warranty.

Default Lithium

Just put a lithium battery in my fatbob and I lost 13 pounds, and they turn over better than the stock ones. Maybe it was already mentioned I didn't read everything. Hasta la vista

Default Lithium CCA

I'll try and send a picture over on this, I'd like the small ones it does have 240 cca and 50.2 watt hours, it gives me 13 lb less and space for a tool bag, I got a CVO 09 fat bob and it just wouldn't be right to hide her under bags.

While lithium batteries have become the rage because of their light weight and longevity, one must be
aware that like lead acid types all are not created equal. Cheaper ones are of Lithium polymer design
like those sold by WPS and can experience thermal runaway, explode and catch fire - it happened to
my godson's 2015 Yamaha R1M track day bike to the tune of $6K in damage. Actually no real difference
between that and laptop computers catching fire.

Top of the line lithium batteries like Speedcell use lithium iron phosphate / LiFePO4 / design cells and don't suffer
from thermal runaway problems but are more expensive to manufacture and hold somewhat less amperage.

Additionally battery tenders for lead acid batteries are not recommended but there are some that will do
both - lithium and lead acid. Here -

Lastly, like so many high quality items these days, some popular LiPo batteries are cheap chinese knockoffs - online
buyers beware.

If money is no object here is the best with a quick disconnect setup. Three year warranty directly from the
manufacture and seven year expected life under normal HD useage. Btw - motorcycle batteries are just a sidelight
with this company - mostly NASA, military and industrial stuff.

One last note - lithium batteries perform very poorly in temperatures below 40 degrees F so that may be a consideration
for some.

^^^ All true. Good info.

To the best of my knowledge, Antigravity and Speedcell both use A123 Lithium Iron cells.

Gonna throw this here before I do much research because it looks like people with the knowledge are here...

If it's cold for a few days straight and I'm not riding my bike won't start. Seems like there isn't enough juice in the battery to start it. If it's warm out or I'm riding every day or two I don't have any issues starting it at all. Previous owner told me he put a new battery in it but I wouldn't be surprised if he was BSing me. That sound like I just need a new battery? Or another problem?

Might have a dead cell or high internal resistance. charge it up and take it somewhere to have it load tested.
