I have a 2001 Dyna lowrider but I bought a wide glide front end online and it didn't come with a axle the slider say showa but it looks like a roadking
All you need to do is measure the "hole" for the axles...it will be 3/4 or 1"
The 25mm and 1" axles fit the same sliders...the inner spacer will work for 1' or 25mm...but the axle and the bearings must match...when you actually install the wheel.
Knowing the Year your New Front End is will certainly help .. ̶2̶0̶0̶0̶ 2006-2007 WGlide Models and2004-2007 Other FXD Models were 1" Bearings .. 2008 Up are ̶2̶5̶.̶8̶ 25 MM" which is very close to 1" ..
OP, post a Pic if you can
EDIT: If it's 3/4", plenty on eBay right now...cheap
08 ups are 25mm ID not 25.8mm.. Wheels used a standard sealed 6205 bearing unless there is ABS. Still the ABS bearings are the same size.
The axle size will depend on the wheel you plan to run. If the original Low rider wheel, you will need a 3/4 inch axle to fit your wheel and spacers for the wheel and disk rotor.
lol... You know Max, I really didn't even look at that quoted "25.8" ... I had my "blinders on" and was focusing on the 1" application specifics he listed
Of course the wheel plays a part, but don't forget the important part of what the sliders will easily allow you to do.
Most people won't be putting 25mm/1" axles into sliders meant for 3/4" axles
