Default Fastener Conundrum

During my 103 build to date, which has turned more into a total bike restoration project, I've lost count of the number of "external to the motor" fasteners Ive broken or destroyed when removing due to the ole Dissimilar Metals quandary as well as rust/corrosion.

Clearly there are various fasteners that must or should have loctite applied regardless, but many others that would probably benefit more so with anti seize so as to avoid corrosion and rust problems.

Exhaust studs for instance, better to have a hi temp anti sieze?
Similarly for all other exhaust clamps and bracket bolts?

Other bolts that rarely cross your mind until you need to remove them such as headlight mount and engine mount bolts.

I won't go through a whole list of fasteners but you get my drift.

So any thoughts as to what other fasteners would be better off with anti seize, or is there a product out there that can perform like loctite but still prevent corrosion or rust related seizure?

Loctite is an effective anti-seize (anti-corrosive) and assembly lube. I saw an industry presentation years ago from Henkel (makes Loctite) with testing data for all kinds of scenarios and it was pretty amazing how versatile chemical threadlockers actually are.

Probably better off with anti-seize for the exhaust studs. I can't remember how hot the usual chemical threadlockers can go without breaking down.

As far as high temp anti-seize, I really like Henkel LB-8009. It's as close to a universal anti-seize as I've found. Good for all metal combinations and high temps.
