Read This Before Buying that Fairing from CertifiedOKC
You may have read my build thread, or my Big Bear Choppers review...
Just forewarning everyone that I placed an order with CertifiedOKC over 8 months ago, was quoted an 8-10 Week lead time, and still have not received anything.
I sent them my console as well to have a mold made and was promised I'd have it sent back to me within 3 weeks. After prying I was told it would be shipped out last week. I waited 8 days with no response. After inquiring about it again, I'm told that mine is the one that was broken in the mold process and that they "didn't know". So after waiting an 8 months (on my own part to return, which should have taken 3 weeks) I have nothing but a $1500 bill, and a broken console which is not in my possession. They did offer to remedy the problem, but I wont hold my breath.
Just last week I was asked again what color carbon fiber I wanted.... 8 months after I ordered and specified what color i wanted....on a part that should have taken 8 weeks....
If I ever receive my parts you can rest assured I will do a thorough review thread, but for now just letting others know to think twice before placing an order.
My build thread will be on hold until I get my parts or until I get my money back, lots of stuff done/ left to do.
Okc is **** if you have Instagram follow atomicTrent he publicly blasted him after waiting about the same time and many reputable builders chimed in and agreed dudes a fraud.
Best bet is that youre never getting your money back take the loss (I know its hard) Im pretty sure its way too late dispute charges with your bank but its worth a shot.
Next time use hofman designs or tcb carbon carbon parts Italy
He did the same thing to my friend Trent who has been in the bike industry quite a while. Paid up front for a lot of stuff and the guy just lies and evades him. He ended up going with T.C.B. carbon parts who hooked him up fast with some top notch parts.
OP may want to look them up if you are still needing parts made.
Wouldn't be the first negative thing I've heard about that guy. Heard he's borrowed oem parts to make molds and either returned them ****ed up or not returned them at all...his IG strikes me as more of an "eff the h8rs" platform rather than something to advertise his parts.
Hope you can get your situation sorted out, sucks that we still have to deal with shitty vendors like that OKC guy that can't deliver on their promises...
