So I’m in the market for a quarter fairing and I was wanting to see what others have gone with. In a perfect world I’d just grab the OEM Harley quarter fairing but it’s kinda pricey. If any of you guys have gone that route or different routes I’d appreciate your input.
There are a lot of threads on this topic already, the "club and thug style dynas" thread has many pictures of other options. Search around a little and you'll find lots of ideas from Memphis shades, JD customs, certified OKC carbon ones, Arlen ness and many others.
personally I'm running a Memphis shades cafe fairing, I think it's nice looking, blocks just enough wind for most rides, has a very nice mounting system that also still allows me to run my Memphis slim windshield. Although I think I'll be getting a Memphis shades road warrior fairing for more wind protection and what I think is the perfect look in the future.
Don't spend all that coin on the factory HD quarter fairing, the 50$ eBay quarter fairings are identical, come with brackets all you should need is clamps...
I much prefer my tsport repop fairing over the quarter fairing I used to run. Takes a lot of the wind off you and looks pretty good in my opinion
Are you all with the Krator fairing having to modify the stock Dyna headlight block to make it fit? I bought a similar eBay fairing and could never get it to fit. I tried an aluminum spacer to raise the headlight up like the BK kit, but never had any luck.

Come to think of it I did have to adjust my headlight. I just bought a new stainless grade 8 bolt and then measured how big I needed the spacer with a stack of washers. Took my washers to ace hardware and found the matching spacer. Done deal. Love it.
I’ve got a factory quarter fairing for sale in the classifieds. I’m not trying to push anybody on buying factory parts, etc. but I’ve seen the aftermarket items. You be the judge of that and make your own decision
