I know most will probably disagree but Im a fan of the EVO Dynas, mid 90s through 1998 which was the last year for the EVO engine in Dynas. There are plenty of them out there with low miles at reasonable prices. In my opinion, the EVO is the last REAL Harley engine with direct lineage to the Knucklehead of 1936. As I said, others will probably disagree and Im sure they will! Good luck in your search.

What year and model speaks to you is what matters. Find one you like and do some research.

Why Dyna? I assume you saw one somewhere that caught your eye. What was it?

14-17 Low Riders are the best all-around bike if you are going late model IMO, but really depends what you are looking for...

Let your budget determine your choices then look for the bike that suits your fancy. Plenty to choose from soon enough as Spring brings out the people who are leaving the hobby and those that are looking to sell privately before taking a bath on a trade in.

as a 2014 street bob owner I'd agree. Knowing what I know now after owning my street bob and changing the wheels, adding a big brake kit and looking into a new seat as well. the low rider's up front cost would probably have been cheaper than what I've spent adding parts to my street bob to make it what a low rider comes OE with (alloy wheels, 2 up seat, dual disc front brakes) to be honest while I got a good deal on my bike the salesman wasn't very helpful at explaining the differences between the Dyna models (and I hadn't yet become so emersed in dynas) and why the low rider was a higher cost bike, and I loved the laced wheels at the time I bought the bike.

on a side note, the front motor mount is a weak link across the Dyna line up.

Best overall because you own one and say so. Well there you have it. Mystery solved. That was easy. Anyone looking to buy a fxr or wide glide ? I’m getting me a low rider.

Let me guess you own a low rider?

Seriously, any dyna is a good choice but the wide glide is a great choice. Lol! If you go with the low rider I am sure you will love it. The street bob is another great choice. Can’t go rong with the fat bob either. Power glide forever!
