Default 2012 FXDC rear caliper clearance question. Someone look at their bike please.

I replaced the rear wheel bearings on my 2012 FXDC .I didn't pay as much attention as I should. Can someone look at their bike and tell me if the inside of the caliper mount is close to the rotor? I have about .010 clearance. See circled in photo

Did you install the first wheel bearing on this brake rotor side and to the bottom of bore? If not, that's probably your problem.

Yes and yes.
Im looking for verification that this is normal or not before I scrap 2 bearings taking it apart.

If I pull the bearings to check are they reusable?

Those following along at home. I pulled the bearings this morning (slid right out). Measured bore depth of bearing bore on rotor side, measured bearing thickness and subtracted the two measurements. Reinstalled the rotor bearing and measured the bearing depth; that number matches what I calculated it should be. I surmise that the back side of the caliper mount is just that close..

Technically No, not reusable because of the removal method of grabbing the inner race.

For sure NO if removed with Impact Style remover (eg. Slide Hammer).

Removing a New just installed bearing with a NON Impact puller (eg. Pit Posse) that comes out easily is still not recommended, but is done by many people.

EDIT: my post above written before seeing your 2 min prior post

I used the Pit Posse style. The came out very easily. Bearing felt smooth,I'll see what happens.

How much clearance on the front side?

.
Do you mean opposite the circle? 1/16 to 3/32ish. It's apart now and I'm sipping coffee thinking about my next move.

Yes...ok, "1/16 to 3/32ish"...so definitely looks offset

I don't have one available to look at right now, but I'm going to put that in the back of my mind to check when available

I just mocked it up off the bike and the caliper mount is now centered with equal clearance. Something is going on to the bike wrong.
