Do the BST ususe some kind of steel inserts for the mechanical interfaces in the hub?
It's not cheap, but they aren't an easy item to make. My brother makes some aluminum wheels that I'll be putting on my LRS and they are about the same cost. There is a lot of design and machine time needed to make items like wheels. Plus the costs of the machines needed are pretty high.
The BST uses hubs that bolt onto the wheel body itself. I'll grab a few pics when I'm at the shop later.
It's pretty much the same design my brother uses on his wheel other than his used an aluminum wheel body. I have pics of that.
The three piece wheel is nice because you can easily set it up for the needed axle size, hub size and single/dual disk application.
