I have the Daytripper. It is miles ahead of the stock seat in comfort, you can ride two up and it looks good. The sundowner looks like it should be on a Honda IMO but it is more comfortable than both the stock seat and the Daytripper.
I bought the Daytripper and am completely satisfied.
I also had a Daytripper on my old Sportster and it wasn't nearly as comfortable as the Daytripper on my Street Bob, go figure. I think thereare variations in the foam and the Sportster seat is possibly a bit thinner.
attached is a pic of the Daytripper on my bike. I have the bungee net with something in it but you can get an idea of how it looks.
to bad they don`t make a happy medium, i put on a sundowner on my wideglide and took it right off, diden`t even get on it it just looked like a couch sitting on my bike i spent alot of money fixin it up to look good, that seat looked like a big pimple ,
they do its called the touring seat i have it on my bike and like it for looks and rideing.it look likethe sundowner.but very slighty less thick,i can ride all day and my girl frend dont complain any more.
