Can ohlins or any manufacturer give an 11 " shock and still give comfort
Howard at Motorcycle Metal has lots of experience in this arena. I recall discussing lengths vs effectivenessa and it seems he wasn't real excited with anything under 12". Not enough stroke to be effective. You'd have to call him to confirm tho. It was a few years ago and I wasn't interested in shorties so we didn't linger on that end of the spectrum.
A better option may be to use lowering blocks with a revalved and resprung 12"-ish shock. Not sure. Would have to do the math.

I'm reading those as asia imports of some kind, no idea what kinda quality they may be
From what I know they're a British company. I think they have a shop in San Diego, not sure where else, where they assemble them to your spec. Maybe the parts are from Asia?

If it's brits then think India, not going to speculate but I'd be interested in learning more as I've never heard of them before.

Hagon is made in UK (Essex) since 1985 to replace Girling, which had closed up shop. I believe they're all 2 yr warranty and TUV approved. Everybody that's reported here has liked them afaik. They started in the late 50s with racing frames and other performance parts.
Ohlins are made in Sweden since the 70s and have similar warranty and approvals, I believe. Lots of top level racing machines have Ohlins dampers.

have to throw ODC suspension in the mix. i didn't even want shocks but, i got a deal on some piggys and i love them. took me a while to appreciate but, happy.
No. There isnt enough travel, and your cornering performance suffers anyways, with such short shocks.
I have 10.5" slammer rears and everyone says that it affects cornering....gotta tell ya I don't have any problems scraping a knee, I take the bags off when I feel like Putin a hurt'n on the road, and I kill it. The problem she rides like a hard tail, and wish they were more comfortable.
