Default Burly vs Progressive

I'm looking to change out my stock HD shocks to a lower "slammed" shock. I've seen a lot of opinions regarding the Burly slammer kit and Progressive shocks. Money is a big factor in this decisions but if the Burly are greatly inferior to Progressives then that must be considered as well.

What do you all think of Burly shocks (B28-1201) vs Progressive shocks (430-4067B/C)?

On my 1200R I have the 10.5" Burly shocks in the rear and stock length progressive springs in forks. Use the 2nd preload on the shocks and 3/8" preload on the forks.

Shocks are stiff, but not painful, forks are near perfect. Handling is great never bottoms out, braking dive is minimal. This combination gave me the stance and ride I wanted.

I can't comment on the Progressive shocks but I do not see how you can make a 10.5" shock ride any better and not bottom out.

Thumbs up Thanks

Thanks for your input and nice bike btw.

Did you have to change out the jiffy stand when you went to the 10.5"?
