Default FXDLS Speedo/Tach mount relocation

I am trying to figure out how to relocate the speedo and tachometer from my tank to the top of my Lucky Daves 13 bars. I know Luck Daves makes a gauge mount for their bars but what else do I need to complete the relocation?

I know I need a set of new gauge cups so does anyone have any recommendations? Do the gauge cups have a spot that can mount to a gauge mount like the Luck Daves?
And how about the covers to go over where the gauges are currently on the tank? I know Hard Case Performance makes them and I might go with those any other suggestions?

All that said, I know Big Bear Choppers has a complete relocation kit which is also an option. Curious if other FXDLS owners have made the switch and what they have done.

Haven't done the swap on my DL but I definitely want to at some point. I think Guerilla Cables makes the wiring harness extension you'll need. The dual gauge cups should bolt onto the Lucky Dave's bar mount but again I can't say with 100% certainty.

A member on here TheSSPirate did the relocation on his FXDLS - you should be able to find the thread if you look up his profile.

These are the parts to get from Harley
2361 x1 - screws to hold the back plate to the gauges (they come in a pack of 5)
67319-95 x2 - tach cover without the button hole
67344-97 x2 - rear rubber grommet
67345-97 x2 - front rubber grommet
67338-97 x1 - tach/speedo mount

Only other thing you will need is a T-Bar mount, and the wire extensions (I used the extender from Guerilla.)

Totally worth it. Best modification I've done to the bike.

To cover the dash, I used a piece of kydex. It is crude, but cheap.

Here’s mine done with lucky Dave’s bars. Used a block off plate from kns customs and then put a power vision in the dash for gauges.

I have an fxdls as well and just bought the Guerilla Cables extension as well. They don’t answer emails so I guess I am **** outta luck with them and any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Is the install pretty straight forward and do the plugs that I am replacing look close to the same as the Guerilla cable harness ? Did you have to take the tank off as well or was everything under the gas tank access below the speedo and tach ?

hopefully you're still active here. I know I'm digging up an old thread, but how did you attach the power vision to that plate and fit it all on the dash? Looks like I'll have to notch out the old speedo hole, which is easy enough. My problem comes with attaching the power vision to the plate. The tab that extends behind it from the block off plate seems to have an 1/8th inch gap between it and the power vision when the power vision is held up against the back of the plate and no other mounting hardware was included. Any tips?

The plate has a flexible tang on the back side that the PV will slide into. I used some double sided tape to keep it from sliding around.

I just used a piece of foam from a pelican case and some gaff tape from my tech box. no movement here. Had a buddy give me the pointers.
