That sucks, man. Broken feet will stick with you for a long time. It may only be in a boot for 6-8 weeks but mine took about 2 years before it felt normal again.

I've had a bit of a kickstand mishap of my own with my old bike...

Granted I didn't break my foot, but my pride sure did hurt for a few days. Kickstand just nope'd right out in my friend's driveway...goes to show you can do everything right and **** will still go wrong...

Heal up quick and get back out there...

It can certainly happen. Whether we do something for the first time, or have done it thousands of times before, if it can happen, it certainly can happen.

For different reasons, the end result is often similar.
