Put down the jiffy stand after a ride today and I must not have had it under my foot, The bike fell on my left foot and it hurts like hell. I didn't feel anything break but I can't walk vary well. Bike must be pissed off because it was a short ride.

Once is enough, Slow down and make sure the bike is resting before dismounting. I cradle the bike with my knees and make sure the bike is supported. I droped mine years ago with miniumal damage holding it all ther way to a softl fall. Live and learn. Make sure to have good insurance with comprehensive so your covered against your own mistakes. one drop can be expensive.
Lucky the bike only has a scratch on the left tail light that is about a 1/8 of an inch. You have to get up close to even see it. I think my foot was the cushion it needed in the fall . I've been icing my left foot all morning. I'll call the doctor in a couple of hours. I might want to have it x rayed. A visit to the ER's starting cost is $180.00 then plus whatever deductible they hit you with if more service is required. I would rather avoid that just for a bruised foot. My doctor's copay is $27.00 I can put pressure on it and hobble. Seriously I don't think it's broken, just more highly bruised. On a more sour note I asked my ex girlfriend (yea she still here until the end of the month) to take the trash can down to the bottom of the driveway and she gave me a bunch of grief so I hopped down and did it myself. Friggin people can be a real a$$hole when you request that they leave.
