Default slip ons

Do you need to install a fuel pack for V&H straight shot slip ons on a 2014 super glide custom?
Thanks,
Rick

with just slipons you should be fine. i did that with my fat bob and it was fine. you may get a little burbling out the pipes but that will not hurt anything. been running mine like that for 6 years...

Vance and Hines are known for their decel pop too. Unless the full exhaust is replaced, then you need fuel pack or a tuner, but with just slipons, you should be fine. Did that on my LR and it was good, Didn't need any fuel management system.

I had V&H slip-ons by themselves, and it was always popping. Went and added a new intake, and an FP3 (stupid easy....) and it quit all that. Should have put the FP3 on when I got the slip-ons. Will it hurt it without it? Probably not. But damn sure runs better with one.

You don't need it but even a stock bike will benefit from a good tune.
