got my new DS 50 fat spoke wheel today. fitted the PND tire to the wheel and the tire sidewall is 1/8" inch off from the wheel outer rim. tire tested up to 80 psi, no leaks, but it does look strange
put the wheel onto the bike, and everything is good apart from the wheel is 1/8" over to the right hand side
As far as the tire not being centered under the fender...as a general rule, custom wheels require custom spacers...which may also require spacing the brake rotor/caliper.
As far as the bead not popping out at 80 psi...I got nothing...unless it wasn't lubed properly when it was installed.

any thoughts on this would sure be appreciated
Looks like the tire bead is not completely seated against the rim. Might need to use more lube to get the tire seated.
It might be sealing but it’s not right. The tire should set flush if anything to stop **** getting in between the rim & tire, but also to seal properly....
Yea, that bead isn't seating. With the wheel off-set, is the brake rotor running cleanly in the caliper or are you getting some brake drag?
I have seen in some front wheel install instructions a note that the front wheel will be off-set on the '06 and up Wide Glide. I do know with the RC Components front wheel I just installed it's absolutely centered on my Wide Glide, but it was made to order. I believe some front wheels are designed to fit across multiple models and years. Maybe Multi can explain it to us
Two examples of HD offered front wheels where they note the off-set on the Wide Glide:
Pirelli doesn't seem to publish specs for their Moto tires (shame!) but the Cobra AV71 is very similar and Avon recommends a 3.5" rim for the 120/70-21. Shouldn't be stretched, so either the rim has a very large inside radius or the bead isn't seated.
I know my 150/80-17 front took a lot of pressure to seat. I install my own so my lube may not be as effective as a dealer but I recall it took all of the max pressure the tire was rated for, maybe a bit more. Can't remember the number but I was eyeballing the gauge as it rose and it made me a touch nervous taking that high.
