Mechanical inspection
I need to pass a mechanical inspection for my dyna 99. I ride on strait pipe but i need original exhaust or factory one to succedthe test. Can i fit sportster exhaust on my dyna?

I think the exhaust ports are at different angles - but I may be wrong. I'd advise checking around for stock take offs, just went to a swap meet this past sunday and saw dozens of older stock dyna exhausts (I'm looking for the opposite, stock sporty pipes!) good luck

Stock take offs should be all over craigslist, eBay, the hdf classifieds and as another member stated, swap meets. Just don’t pay top dollar for them cause they’re everywhere.

Get a system that's from a Dyna. And just like Sportsters, Dynas have changed over the years so you have to make sure you get something in the year/model range you need.
