More Performance
The EVO engine was last produced in 1999 and that is when the twinkie engine started. As S&S, TP Engineering, etc. engines are all based on the EVO engine there are a lot of goodies out there. You might even consider dropping a TP 124 Pro-Series Engine in your frame. At 124 HP and 130 ft lbs of torque it would move...
Man i know how u feel. I'm 22 and bought a 2000 wide glide that had the 95 ci big bore kit installed. Even with all that motor the crotch rockets will embarass the hell out of you. I was on some back roads and ws curious to see if i could keep up with an r1. When i saw the guy go to pass the group i was on it. When i hit 90 the guy flew past me like i was standing still. That made me want a street rod that much more.
As has already been said.......it is simple pyhsics .
Compare weights of bikes, horsepower/engine differences and the equation is basic.
Personally, I think it is great also to see a younger guy interested in something more...........but please don't make the mistake of thinking that your bike is a crotch rocket or that your bike is less because it is not a crotch rocket......your bike is something a crotch rocket will never, ever be.
Perhaps as you get a bit older you'll understand it more......and that is not said as an insult.....it is simply the truth.
We all like speed............that does not have to equate to style or class.
I ride with friends who ride crotch rockets and there is never a time that they don't look at my LowRider with a bit of envy.......
A Buell or a Street Rod would still be your best option if you so intensely want to combine two seperate worlds........
