I was just wondering if I needed rocker shaft locks. I have a 2016 wide glide .was not sure if harley ever corrected the issue before my model year .Thanks for any info .
Your WG still has the Twin Cam engine, and it's associated top end noise issues.

Thanks for the replies. I realize the motorcycle is mechanical and there will be noise.at what mileage does the rocker shaft noise typically begin.
i honestly dont remember when mine started but I know it wasnt long after I bought the bike. Ive had a horrible noise in my top end (22k miles) and I suspect this is the issue. I ordered rockouts for mine and should be installing them tomorrow. They only come with 5 which is for the two bolt holes on each cylinder that the rocker shaft is against the bolt hole, plus a spare, but I bought two sets and am considering installing them in each hole. Either way Ill post back and let you know the results.

Only 2 bolt holes per support plate intersect the Rocker Shaft Bores... (or if you prefer, 1 bolt hole per shaft bore intersects)
