The fatboy lamp assembly is not a HID. And you can not just stick a HID bulb in it. You need a HID system. I guess you could piece one together and possibly fit it in the bucket. The link I posted above and now below is to a Kuryakyn HID system. The Fatboy assembly may be brighter then you have now and add to it the brighter alternative bulbs like the sylvania silverstar may just be what you are after, but it is not a HID systemso you know.
