I don't usually ride 2, but on the off chance my wife wants to ride on the bike a nice weekend, I don't want the bike to look like a passenger riding on an sportster because it looks a little awkward.
I have a 14 LR that I absolutely love. I have contemplated trading in for a bagger, but cant bring myself to get rid of my dyna. My wife rides with me on occasion and has said its a pretty comfortable ride. I dont believe it looks weird riding two up, but like previously stated Im not sure how it looks since Im on the bike. As far as upgrades and maintenance I have done everything myself. If youre only going to be riding two up on occasion, I think youd be extremely happy with a LR.
Did it myself. Memphis Shades batwing fairing,
FMB choppers menencary apes 12" and leather pros saddlebags. The seat is the stock seat from the Low Rider (without S)
Thanks for the input
- love the faring you have,
Did you put it on yourself? if not, how much did it cost to put on?
Is it a Harley part or after market?

First, I love your dyna. Second, I have to ask, did you leave the engine guard chrome because you wanted it to stand out from the bike, or is it one of those, "I'll powder coat it black when I get around to it" kind of things?
Don't like the chrome guard too. But the bike tipped over on the left side. Primary scratched batwing scratched clutch lever broke. The next day I mounted the chrome guard that I got used from a friend.
I want the Harley mustache guard in black. The problem is that I live in Germany and the Harley parts are very expensive here. The mustache guard costs 400 Euros . That are 500 USD.
Have to save money first
I have the black mustache guard myself. That settles it for me, you sir, have excellent taste. You really do have a beautiful bike. I love the way you blacked it out.
