Question Customization questions + pictures!

Hello all,
I'm currently riding a stock 16 Fatboy and I'm dying to upgrade soon. I don't think I "tour" enough for a street glide, road king, or road glide. I'm really leaning towards the new Low rider (S maybe) and I have a lot of questions creating an image for a prospective purchase.

1. I'm looking for pictures of a low rider with a passenger but can't seem to find too many. Are these bike mainly meant for solo riders? Do they look silly with passengers?
2. I've heard of the Dyna rumble/wobble. When I'm hitting about 80-90 around highway turns, I tend to get some wobble on my Fatboy. Do Low riders tend to have a lot of wobble/hand numbing rumble??
3. I'm no good with mechanics and also too nervous to mess something up trying to customize my own bike. Do people tend to get their customizations at a dealership or does the majority DIY their own motorcycles?
4. Can anyone post pictures of their low riders or any low riders they've seen with bags, apes, and or sissy bars?

I will attach an image of something that looks very tempting. If someone could give me some pros/cons to this type of build that would be much appreciated!
(this is not my motorcycle, I found this on google images)

Here's my 06 LR with 12 inch apes and Harley bags. I have a detachable sissy bar with pad as well.
The wobble seems symptomatic of dynas on fast and long curves but it can be minimized with alignment, a fork brace, and better motor mounts.
Most on here DIY but I think they are mostly on here because they DIY and it is not an indicator of what most people do. Unless you plan to own several bikes and work on them a lot or just want to learn about your bike and how it works, take it to an independent mechanic to do the work if it isn't on warranty. If it is on warranty, take it to the dealer.

High speed wobbles can be a bear to remedy.
A "slammed" rear may make wobbling worse.
An extended front, may make wobbling worse.
Riding at "80-90" on a bike designed for 45-50, may make wobbling worse.
Adding saddle bags/weight past the rear axle, may make wobbling worse.
Aggresive leaning while going fast, may make wobbling worse.
Lots of factors can create wobbling. OP seems to be hitting every single one of 'em.

Jay_Guild, Thanks for the info! Those answers really help out. Some follow on questions I have are,

1. Do you ride with a passenger? I think sportsters look very awkward with people on the back, is that something that looks a little weird on the LR?
2. What type of bags are those? Can they be locked?

Your LR looks great. I'm thinking torn between a breakout and the new LR.

rah.

I have ridden with a passenger but I'm not sure how it looks as I'm the one driving. I don't imagine it looks any different than other mid glide dyna and is more about the comfort of the rider with the narrow rear fender on most dynas. That is fixed with a seat though.
The bags are H-D Detachable bags Part Number 90181-08A. They are hard shell inner stretched leather outer except for the top which is thick leather. I ordered the universal locks with my ignition key number so I only need one key and installed those on the bags to get locks on them. It works and the bags are huge. Won't run out of room and I think they look decent.

I have a LRS that I occasionally ride 2 up. I find it comfortable enough. I have never experienced any wobble issues on mine and I often ride 80+ through sweepers. Sorry no pictures of the bike right now.

If your plan is to ride 2 up most of the time and your worried about looking small, buy a bagger....they really are not that much bigger, but they do look it....

plus you should not be getting any sort of weave or wobble from your soft tail....what makes the dyna’s more prone to this is the rubber mounts....if you have this condition something is out on your bike....start with the wheels

That looks great. Did you DIY for the custom parts or did you get it done @ the dealership. If so, would you mind telling me the price?
