Hey Everyone. I have a wiring question and I need some help. I've decided to relocate my speedo on my 2016 Dyna Lo S from the tank to my MX-T Bars. I was having issues seeing my dash and watching the road at the same time.
While I was at it, I decide to get rid of my Tach and replace it with a PowerVision. The pod set up is from LowLife Speed Works. But now I have no indicator lights for my turn, hi beam, neutral, or oil lights.
I reached out to LLSW and they told me to get the indicator lights from a 2008 Street Bob FXDB. I did and i also bought the bezel.
I am able to identify the wires for the indicator lights on the FXDB, but the harness on my FXDLS went to the Tach and it only has 4 wires to it. The indicators have 7. and none match up as far as wiring diagrams. I was hoping somebody has some insight to this.
Thanks in advance.
Re your question, I think you’re going to have. A hard time. The new bikes use canbus, which is a data type connection, hence why you don’t have enough wires from the tach to break out the idiot lights,
