Default Ness Big Brake kit recommendations

I have a 2012 FXDB that im upgrading to dual disc. I have decided to to go with two ness big brake kit. I have two questions. I like the looks of the jagged rotors but I'm nit sure they will perform as well as the round style. Can anybody weigh in.
I also already bought EBC HH Doublr sinteted pads. I have seen others have used EBC HH pads with Ness BB but i also read that Ness voids your warranty if you don't use the pads they approve. Does anyone know if EBC HH pads are approved for use with Ness BB kits.
I have been trying to find a list from Ness of approved pads but no luck. I'm gonna call tomorrow to verify but i figure i woukd ask.

After pad and rotor bedding no noise and absolutely no feedback thru lever.

I called Aren Ness when I was developing my bracket and they had no recommendations. I have approximately 600 miles on the EBC HH Doublr sinteted pads and they work Great!!

By the way have you looked at the break in procedure for these pads on EBC's website. It takes quite a few miles but I believe well worth it!

Do you think new rotors need to be seasoned first with semi sinteted of do you think running HH pads right out the gate are fine?

Yes you can start with the HH pads. Break-in procedure suggests light braking for initial bedding then aggressive hard stops to heat and finish bedding.

During the light usage you will think the pads perform extremely poorly. The manufacturer even warns to be careful not to require panic stops.

Once they are fully bedded / seasoned they will stop on a dime.

While preforming the final heat cycles you will think the pads are galling and literally tearing up the rotor. It's unnerving to say the least

My rotor now looks perfect, smooth with no glazing or galling. I hope this helps.
