Do you have access to ethanol free? If so, try it and find out. We can’t get it where I live but they have lots of it in GA where my mom lives. Whenever I would ride my stock 2011 Road Glide down there I would burn it and it made a huge difference. That bike was real picky about fuel anyway for some reason. Last time I was down there I burned it in my stock 2017 Heritage and couldn’t tell any difference at all. It runs super good on any kind of gas. The only difference between the two is the Heritage is the 103HO and the Road Glide was the standard 103. The HO has different cams, AC and (I assume) a different tune to compensate. It just likes gas. I still buy ethanol free down there because its only a few cents more than corn squeezins so, why not?

A gallon of Gasoline produces one third more energy than a gallon of ethanol.
So gas with ethanol does not have the same energy value as gas alone.
I pay the extra for ethanol free gasoline in South Dakota when I am there. In a higher performance motor it will make a difference.
