I'm looking to get a step-up for my FXDB and am torn between the San Diego Customs A-Holder, Corbin Widowmaker and Lucky Daves. I've read reviews on all but wondering if anyone here has tried them all, or at least a couple and has a preference. I'm 6'0" and don't want to be scrunched up or hunched over the bars. And want some long-distance comfort. Thanks.
I have the lucky daves, but haven't tried the other 2 you mentioned. My street bob had a stock low rider seat on and the difference is night and day. In 10 years of riding, my lucky dave's seat is the most comfortable I've ridden. FWIW, my wife hates the passenger section, but she doesn't ride enough to get an opinion. The seat did not really move me forward an appreciable amount, but its noticeably taller and narrower; maybe an inch on height and an inch - inch and a half on width.
The SDC will be a little taller and farther forward than the LD. The back portion is also more vertical. It's comfortable for me being 5'8" and stubby legs.
