So, do you suggest it may be easier to just replace the 02 sensor?

i would, that is what I did with mine....even though it looked good. I believe there is a way of testing them, just dont know how. Mine happened each time I changed exhaust, 1st time I forgot to unplug it and twisted the wires or at least I think I twisted them, 2nd time it just stopped working an hour after replacing the exhaust gaskets...I think the wires are made of silly string

Nothing wrong with the dealer...you just have to know the dealer and what your getting, not all dealers are the same, my dealer is excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate to take my bike there if I needed to...I don’t as I do all my own work, but I would cause they are good.
