Sure it won't look as "cool", but I think I will enjoy it more, as well as a lady friend.

In about three minutes it goes from a decent local hotrod to a decent mid-range tourer.

Add a set of shocks with easily externally-adjustable preload, and you're in good shape for both setups!

Very nice, what air cleaner are you running?

My 2006 Dyna has been all over the place stylewise - forward controls, bags, big old mustang seat. Rider and passenger floorboards, windshield, super tall sissy bar. Stripped all of that off (when I bought a street glide) and added 10” bars, then went back to mid-mounts with stock pegs, solo seat, and scrambler bars. Now back to the stock 2 up seat and a padless sissy bar...my wife won’t ride on the dyna after being spoiled on the Streetglide, so two up seat and sissy bar is more for luggage, but that setup was weird without passenger pegs.

Thanks!

It's an older SE backing plate, setup for external breathers. I used to keep the stock football cover on it, but switched to no cover with a cd/dvd screwed to the front of it (in that picture). I actually just finished a swap to an R&R Cycles intake, which I'll write up at some point soon...

Thanks. Mine ,measures about 14". Don't know if I should call this conclusive or not. It is, however, plenty wide enough for my skinny butt.

Thing is I was in a motorcycle accident in 2001 that involved a compound fracture on my left forearm, twisted the elbow pretty bad too. It has never bothered me until I started riding with these drag bars on the Harley.

Changed my mind. Staying with current configuration/design. I love the solo look and I've worked hard on getting the bike to this point(still not done yet). I'll get a better seat for comfort but I'll still keep the Lepara Bare Bones fo show.
